Looking Back

Things are not like they used to be
way back when.
We are not as young and spry as
we were then,
and the Golden Rod looks paler
than when
we blew thistle down, in the field
as children.

    A succinctly strong lil' poem, Chas. It has been quite some time since I have seen Golden Rod used in a poem.
