About This Poem

My Quiet Place

Passage of time

If time is Master; I’m the slave.
Each day I clean; I glean
I make the clock tick and wonder
why it’s the same old scene.

I watch as the years slip away,
and swipe the seconds clean.
Then the sun sets and I cry for
memories I didn’t convene.

Sometimes Time seems such a waste - if only we could capture just one moment and glorify it. Take heart and concentrate on what is significant.... Congrats on your win, Vicky. Love, Suzette

I can relate although my morning commute is by car. It's a frustrating experience, sitting in that rush hour traffic, hoping I don't get cut off again as I attempt to exit. My signaling seems to be the que to cut me off...ugh! You definately have talent. I think the world would be a more peaceful place if more people would find a creative outlet. Keep it up. xoxo
