Hands

                          Hands

Everyday people use their hands for all sorts of things,
To wash their hair and tie it up with colorful strings.
Your hands are the touch of your favorite dress in lace,
To be at the dinner table and say grace.
Your hands care for the ones in need,
To hold  the baby's bottle, while they feed.
Your hands are there to give large hugs,
To hold your children, and keep them snug.
Your hands wipe away the tears, when your feeling down,
To feel your soft pillow without a sound.
Your hands are what makes you special in everyway,
To put your hands together when we pray.
Hands feel every part of your soul,
To shake hands with a person you don't even know.
Doctors hands are the healing tools for the sick,
To give them meds, should do the trick.
Most of all your hands give your family love,
To hold them and thank the great one above.

Nice poem with great rhyming. Many do not thank God for such a great grace until they lose one or even both of them. Thanks for sharing such a marvellous poem. Love, Khalid.
