Parents:

Do they remember...
What it's like to be a kid?
How it is to be small?
Do they know...
The temptations of the world?
Your personal desires?
Your own ability?
Do they understand...
Your actions?
Your words?
Your life?
No, they don't.
"our life was hard," they say,
we kids are,"too happy."
They didn't have technology.
No temptation from games,
nor from the computer.
Parents are hard to please,
when their standards are too high.
But they do not budge,
and leaves God to judge,
all the obstacles in your life,
put there to make you strive,
for excellence and perfection.
