This Girl
This girl loved a boy
And the boy loved this girl
She was certain
He was the one for her
They talked everyday
They planned their future
But one day things changed
And he wasn't there for her
"Where did you go?'
"What did I do?"
"One day we were in love"
"And now I'm searching for you"
Then she heard about "Her"
And a part of her died
Hung her head in defeat
She cried and she cried
Broke her heart into pieces
And prayed to Jesus
"Whats wrong with me?"
"Why did he choose her over me"
"I thought he was the one"
"I just want somebody to love me"
Then a booming voice replied
"Dear girl, you are mine"
"There is nothing wrong with you"
"Just give me some time"
"Let my master plan unfold"
"I have great things in store for you"
"I will not let you down"
"For I hurt for you too"
"I will always love you"
With a whole new perspective
And a heart filled with hope
The girl turned her head
To the boy she once loved
