About This Poem

Dragons

Mighty mythic dragons
From ancient folklore tales
Had wing spans that would dwarf
Any a flagships sails
And armor plating also
Against which nothing could prevail
And so fearsome was their fire power
Mens defenses - all - would fail
These creatures - some say - (fable)
With scorpion train (a deadly tail)
Still strike excited fear in, as from the very start,
The charmed vivid imagination
Of every child's heart

I enjoyed this one as well. Your style reminds me a bit of another poet here at Soup who enjoys writing interestingly about different factual pieces of information. That is robert Pettit. have you checked out his stuff?
