Not familiar with this style but this one is excellent. I never thought of dark and gray skys as the arbitor of hope. I guess even darkness can be a blessing depending on the circumstances. Well done Rebecca!

ok, here is another form that can take me hours to do because I love them done perfectly. You did very well with yours and I love the theme, how you are teasing us with the lines about raining coming, just the way the breezes in your poem are teasing with the hint of rain. Good pantoum.

You've given a weather report for today in New Jersey. This morning started just the way you have described everything in this work. You have described everything well.

That's so sweet Rebecca! Nice poem for nice topic. My only point of view is that all lines are reading 7 syllables except lines 2 and 5. My question is: Did you make the syllable counting free or restricted with 7 syllables. Whatever would be your answer, I really enjoyed reading your work. It's really touching the heart. Great piece.

Hmm.. That's a good question! It was the word "across" that threw that line off, and it should have been written as an elision: 'Cross the wide expansive skies. Thank you for your observation and comment! :)
