what a brilliant description of love from david, joy... men's brains are wired differently from women, thus the venus and mars concept... yes, we need to be cherished and men need to be admired/ respected... somehow, no matter how mental guys get, deep inside , they want to express themselves in a most intimate way, perhaps not verbally... it does take time... for now, ay you enjoy his love language... thanks for your generous comments re my poem 'plundering the flesh' ..:) huggs!

No doubt about it that Mr. Smalling is a great poet and writer...he expresses himself like no other, but that is not what's on the line here...

Sometimes love alone dosn't cut it...one has to be able and willing to be pliable where their spouse is concern and not be so starched and unbending. Am I guilty of the same thing??? I am not sure.
