The touch of your skin on mine
Holding hands we walk
An eternal path of love

The day your illness took hold
And stole our future
But, could never steal our love!

    David, your senryu is very sad..Illness and the effects of love are born from each other. One thing I've learned through the years, about love, is how it is carefully examined during the lowest times in our life. I've seen how love grows stronger when any illness surface... SOmetimes I wonder if that is the reason, God allows al the suffering. That way folk like me can reach down and find what we forget, I love your poem,, reading it once again. David, missing you.     Dear David - I am so sorry for your wife is inflicted with this painful disease. Someone very close to me has had a severe case since her early twenties (now 50). She has had a wonderful 'future' amid the pain. I will miss your poetry and pray for you and your wife. Hang in. love, Kathy
