About This Poem

Tiny Little Fingers

Tiny Little Fingers

Tiny little fingers wiggle in the air
I reach out mine to touch with care

The energy of life so soft to the touch
Full of joy, can't get enough

Tip to tip no words are said
Silent heartfelt moments are created instead

A baby doesn't have to say a word to get their message out
Loads of tender loving care, this is what it is all about

Great description of a mothers loving bond with her little one. A father can love a child but not with the intensity of the mother- child bond. Beautifully written.

I love your thoughts, while holding a newborn so many thoughts of happiness come into mind, but then there is the protection mode that kicks in because as adults we know that our world is not a perfect one and we try to the best of our ability make it a perfect one for them, Thanks Tristen for reading my poem and many blessing your way!!!
