RAINDROPS FALLING
Heavenly necklace, let loose some pearly strands
The raining beads fall pattering on my outstretched hands
Rivulets flow in the criss cross grooves of my palms
Vaulting destiny's hurdles, washing away all qualms
Patting gently easing away forehead's worry furrows
Pulling me to radiance from the deep dark burrows
Shiny diamonds perform trapeze on the window bars
Minuscule prisms breaking white light into myriad colors
Dripping dropping below flowing through leaves first
Eagerly awaiting sweltering earth quenching its thirst
Every drop performing the worth of its attendance
Soaking the air with its earthy misty fragrance
Could be a soft drizzle or a heavy downpour be it may
These falling drops brighten up a world that was grey!
