I'm still in the dark, where the sun doesn't shine, where no one has gone before
Inside, outside, upside down...I aint got what I was looking for...

It should have been love. Why should I care? Why should I wait shaking my head?
I just wish you were here in my arms... every second, every minute...enough said...

At the end of the day, I'll do the right thing...I'll forget everything and run
because tomorrow won't be late and the tears in my eyes will be gone one by one

WOW! Had to read this poem about 4 times before it finally sunk in. I adore poets who challenge the reader! Your first stanzas are striking. Your final line is killer-good! ..."the tears in my eyes will be gone one by one." OH, YEAH! Excellent, Ruben. Best always, John

Tap tap. First part of short story/novella has been posted. I had orignially calculated the length to be about 3,000. I think its closer to 7,000. Sigh. Too long. Well, we'll see. I was thinking of David today. I hope his wife is improving. He's dealing with the real stuff right now. This? The drama and snips, this ain't real. This is memorex, if you get my drift. People dealing with real issues and life and death situations all over the place. Ooops. LOL. on that happy note, goodnight! Cyndi
