About This Poem
Perseid Meteor Shower
Shooting stars will dawn tonight
Visible for those with no clouds, to host
The lights show shall be magnificent
Perseid meteor showers to boast
Waiting after midnight in darkness
With anticipation and delight
We’ll see a galaxy of shooting stars
Fly through the skies tonight
I hope I can wait till two am
Twenty-five to sixty meteors will tower
And explode to light up the skies this eve
And that within an hour
