on becoming
Is it what you conceive in
thought or deed... or what you
perceive...that lasts in time?
Was it your idea... that became
the seed when you were born?
And when will your blossoms
bear their intended fruit?
Was a master plan in place for
your belief to be discovered by
mere chance...
or will it unfold for your dreams
to behold... as a matter of
time?
And will a struggle permit
itself...
to spin a weave of silver...
then of gold...
for other's eyes to behold...
the sheer beauty of it all?
And who's purpose shall be
fulfilled... ?
and who is watering thy tender
shoots?
And who's pain shall be
endured... when a newly born
becomes the flow of life?
And is thy mother's milk the
budding of a rose...
in the time of life?
And is this on becoming for a
father to part-take?
Where is thy seed that
becomes a deed in the
loneliness of life?
But in a prayer... that is tender
care... for the thought of life.
And who will treasure it's
budding... and water thy tender
roots in time... and who will
nurture... life itself?
And what about the man who
had it all in time...
who sought the giver of life and
became blessed...
and then his seeds were tossed
to the wind?
The Lord giveth and the Lord
taketh away!
Blessed be the name of the
Lord!
