no more change

We will miss the lowly penny
When it takes its final bow
What will we do for change
If the nickel bows out next

When it takes its final bow
 Our pockets will be lighter
If the nickel bows out next
What will we do then

 Our pockets will be lighter
When the penny is no more
What will we do then
When all our coins are gone

When the penny is no more
What will we do for change
When all our coins are gone
Will we miss the lowly penny?

Most likely the penny won't be missed except in loafers and the debit card will be the only money in our pockets...:) Nice write, light and amusing. Thank you for stopping by and introducing me to your poetry.

I LOVE how you did your penny pantoum. I think this looks like a hard challenge and you did a great job, Joseph. A winner for sure.

Excellent form of choice here Joseph...I tried it once but it didn't work out for me...I guess I can give it another try...and I'm a collector of coins and losing the penny will definitely hurt..enjoyed your write!!!

Very interesting form! It seems rather complicated to write such a 'thing'... Hmmm, maybe one day... In any case, a very good poem... Terry
