About This Poem

Tapestry

Twisted and deftly weaved, started with grey colours, my ‘cardigan years’
Amazingly, intricate designs with subtle hints of colour embedded within
Perplexing to understand the pattern, like brain waves moving in horizontal lines
Extremely neat. No loose threads to found anywhere, folded neatly in life
Soft as silk. Handle with care. Life is a gentle wash.
Travels really well, like to be in the open, not shoved to the back of a cupboard
Ready to accept all new kinds of material, embrace them with open arms
You will love the feel of me, hold me against your cheek and feel my cashmere kiss…

life flows and on it goes, comfort mind of state, no drama here it shows, brings pictures to me mate... i win at chess when im really awake ... i do a neck roll to bring me online mentally, it helps the eyes smell taste hearing etc... just roll ya head right back slowly and feel the calcium crunch a bit ...it works like a switch on....do it often and you wont need glasses:) see edgar cayce on neck roll...

wow, DAvid. When you write like this, it's stunning. You have taken the topic and actually used a sweater to tell the story of YOU. This is what I like to see. FAVE

I truly love your Tapestry genius you have going on here! You are smarter than your threads could really bear! However, they are going strong, a beauty sound and true! What a gorgeous write about a fabulous Tapestry! Great Work!!
