About This Poem

Free Inside Their Paddock

You just said it so well
Without even saying a single word
Im wearing my mask like a clown
Hidden behind the make up..

But the smile still stays on
Wipe away that grin
It`s a long way to heaven
So you better start begging..

Black clouds on a wrinkled sky
You`ll see what your eyes translates
You`ll read what your mind perceive
Letters burned into your flesh..

Marked forever like tattooed messages
Cyber cowboys, a new era
Us, the cattle locked inside their paddock
Behind a comp screen we have our freedom..

Dangerzone is everywhere, Arild. Even when you think you are free to be someone you're not, it can always harm you. Cyber world is not an exception. :)

I think parts of this one are too deep for me, Arild. I love the images in it, of the black clouds on the wrinkled sky. And comparing us to cattle, yep, we are that more and more !!!
