A Moment In Time
Sleeping Beauty, thinking as I reflected upon her image; this fairy tale revised
And how quickly she then disappeared; yet but a passing vision afore my eyes
Still not knowing what it was about herself or why her name kept resounding
Throughout my mind for it seemed as though she had arisen out of nowhere
In splendours enchanting allurement; having drawn myself unto her beautiful
Soul trying to envision her within my faraway thoughts; knowing although this
It did not matter which way she shown; twas her spirit that sparkled in glowing
Radiance unto me still listening to her voice; like the soothing silver waters of
A gently flowing stream; her golden hair sparkling; the rays amid the rising sun
Her precious crown; elegance with a perfect smile; gleeming as polished pearls
Transparent eyes aside, a colourful cathedrals glass; bluer then the bluest skies
Gentle her touch softer than the clouds and her skin, smooth as a virgins flower
My lashes blinked once more; twas then, that I could see her there this goddess
Surely it seemed, of all men's dreams; flawless she was in mesmerizing her light
Brilliance as that an Angel when she did appear; while bowing my head I reflected
Unto myself again; never would I have believed, that she would of been the one ?
But like a phantom which passes amid the shimmering night; beyound the frosted
Window pane became her sight; before I had awakened she was silently, suddenly
Gone yet my eyes still beam at the thought; how very radiant she has thus become
While she dances away atop the waters in her moment I do know, that her beauty
Joyfuls spirit, shall forever glisten these portraits; her wonders deep inside myself
She but a star within the heavens; "Tis better to have lived and loved, then, to have
Never loved at all." This stage called life where her loveliness pirouettes; a princess
Swirling about the winds of Eden; glimmering gracefully whileas she twirls; smiling
I watch her now thinking, who would have ever known ? Sleeping Beauty; her kiss....
