A House and A Home

A home, where love was whelming
Unconditionly forgiving
It took care of everything
And was always welcoming

A house, that has been through the wars
Blood on the floors, walls covered in sores
Curtains torn, bolted down doors
An Unsteady fondation was born

A house, where certainty did not lie
THere was joy that went a awry
Confused tears were cried
The charm had died inside

A house, that began to rebuild
Where Passion and faith were once killed
The focus of hope was filled
Needed boundries were instilled

A home, where three is more than four
Slowly sweeping the blood stained floors
Hope is healing the walls open sores
Cracking open the reluctant doors

Lovely distintion between house and home -it's interesting how you've used the two to signify different emotions bringing out the desolation and hope. Welcome to poetrysoup Mike!
