The Howling III

Sitting amid these shadows listening to the music again, here, in this foreign land....

Pondering the state of it all; distant soil and tainted flesh; a parallel universe, cast

Inside confusions cages calling, their disarray; peeling away the paint left covering

Times tear stained wall's; puddles of blood mingled with spirit's, and dogs barking

Piercing their own tongues, as choking back the saliva filling, these darkling's eyes....

Manifest destiny standing at the cliffs edge peering into the valley below; Stardust

Wow. I'm speechless after this visceral, evocative poem.
