The Remaing Chapters

I fall-
tumbling silent,
as water cascading the drain,
acid rain pounding the dark
asphalt,
Toronto welcome me home.
Heartbroken and raw;
the vapid shell and carcass,
a scrap of paper, empty,
white, incomplete,
drifting silent through the
streets,

With chapters still unwritten.
