About This Poem
My World
Take a mental picture of
The world that I see
Everything green is now golden
And everything golden is green
Oceans are still blue
Though the deepest blue you'll see
Also every lake,stream,and pond
Have the same deep blueness of the sea
Flowers shine as jewels
Shimmering in the suns light
Then glow in vibrant colors
As daylight fades into night
Everyday a sunset of beauty
In every distant country,and every land
It fills the sky with a rainbow of colors
Filled with love we watch,and stand
