RETURNING HOME

RETURNING HOME

Two years now
Have toiled in this garden
Searching for her
Waiting and wailing for her return
With tears and thorns tumbling my knuckles
With agonies growing daily
With hope masquerading
I shall return home
I shall wait no longer
For the stolen ribs.

Awoh Kingsley.
