When your wings no longer carry your weight
I will be there to open the gate.
Just like Peter in the heavenly sky,
I'm the first one you see once you have died.
When your halo splits, or slips, and chokes,
You will recall the final words that you spoke:
The curses you uttered for your forsaken life,
And the lies that cut her love like a knife.
You devil, you wretch, you hideous man,
To her you did things you did not understand.
“Breathe in, breathe out, it will all be okay”
The malice you spit crawls in all that you say.
Maybe when the door opens to the City of Dis
You’ll know what deception was in every kiss.
You said that you loved her, what a terrible sin.
Now I’ll open this portal, and summon you in.
