My words
I write this tribute to me,
with in my words I am free,
always alone left to explore,
every possible reality at my door.
In this world my backs always to the wall,
often I feel what's the point of it all,
the words I write help me to see,
the truths that often elude me.
My words give me strength to carry on,
they always show me where I've gone wrong,
snippets of my life caught in time,
left to dissect slowly in my mind.
Motionless and in front of me all my words lay,
all my life's answers I find this way.
