About This Poem
Dandelion
It's strange learning lessons too late
But pain lingers into the night
It stays as a comfort to the alone
I wait and don't fight it
Gather it to me as the dandelion
Like a child I blow and send each sorrow
The wind surrounds each thought and carries
And if they are watered and fertilized
They will form my future and the Sun
The blessed Sun will warm my broken heart
The mending and stitching of my better half
My better half who knows all of me
I love you
