About This Poem

Whoot Dun It

Written sometime in the 1970's
By Gail DeBole

There once was an owl whose loud hoot
Could frighten the fiercest of brutes.
A "whoo-t" of renown
Sent birds circling the town
To find out who did what when to whoo-t!

Chasing limericks around your page and laughing. This one kind of goes with Sherlock and the five w's. What a hoot!

AWESOME limerick, Gail. You must have been very young when you wrote it. I was in high school at that time!
