Bloody drops of rain,
Cause our hearts to stain,
When our souls are filled with the pain,
Of ugly scars that remain,
And our cries for help are all in vain,
For the unrest just beneath our skin,
Sweats out of us through our pores,
And the blood and tears flood our eyes.
Deep inside our fears stand tall,
Terrorizing our self and thus we fall,
Into a daze with our pride and all,
The feelings we mostly cannot recall,
Which hide behind the emotional wall,
And seldom outward openly crawl,
To lend a hand to our brother who fell,
We have no calming words to tell.
But we can still walk the path of grace,
When we speak out and our fears we face,
Strife and dispute we thoroughly erase,
The stench of war gone without a trace,
And our neighbors we embrace,
And walk together till we get to the place,
Where brotherhood will never cease,
And you and I will live in peace.
