Crayola Kisses

 Crayola kisses

With waxed paper dreams
And crayola kisses
She waves wishes
Down from the pillared porch
Amidst gardenias glistening
Past the
Rose petals that
Silently listen
Past the
Years that are
Silently slipping
Past the
Languid leaves
I walk by
Memories burning so alive
With heavenly dreams
And clouded kisses
Down from
The pillared porch,
Someone else`s porch
She waves wishes

Hung onto those precious memories you have of your Nana. Pass on your own kisses for others to have memories of you. Very good piece.

Dear Juli-Michelle, Thank you again. This poem was written for my Nana, after she passed away. After her house was sold, when I passed her home(took me a long time to do it)Every time,in minds eye,I saw her blowing kisses, waving wishes, like she did while alive.Love is,never dies.Best wishes,Tracy.
