That Penny loafer

Robust man,
yes I,
vigorous
and wanting,
far from feeble

But her lips,
they were
pink and swollen
when I came in that room,
as,
she had been waiting
for mine entry

And at the bedrooms
open window,
on its ledge;
the loan Penny loafer,
mine reason for the gawp
and feeling forlorn

    Mystery of the penny loafer - what is the reader to think? Was it a daring escape by a secret lover? Had he, indeed, fallen from the window to his death 40 stories below? Had she been contemplating suicide and at the last minute brought her foot back in. Check the street 40 stories below for the other loafer. And, lastly, was she a two-legged person, the revelation he learned when viewing the single loafer. Now I have it! Check the street for her - 40 stories below. Dashing write dear James. Love, daver
