Great stuff, Ruben! I was just holding my baby grand-daughter and I loved that sweet baby smell. She yanked on my mustache and then pinched my nose. Ow!...Babies are strong! This senryu captures it all in just three short lines - Tim

:-) LOL! Ah, yes, the innocent smile as a new diaper is "freshly loaded." Hmm, sounds like my morning. Love this, but then again, this is my life. Potty training is not going well .... "No thank you," my daughter says to the princess pink throne with the magic wand you get to use to 'flush' the thing. It's the Harley of potties, for heaven's sake! I may end up using it myself. Hugs, Cyndi.. thanks for all the comments, chum, on my po's. As Nancy would say, sure do Preeshate you.

A sensitive senryu, Ruben. A very calming piece, even with the stinky diapers. Where are your limericks? Ah, or are you entering older posts?

I love the image of the baby reaching for your chin, Ruben! Is it a child of yours? I must go see if you won first place in that one contest. I can't remember who I saw were the top winners, but I bet you were one of them.

wonderfully written with pure skill and craft. I like your words the unique sequence they use to bring out the meaning of your poem.
