Hope and Joy
“Hope and Joy”
When you’re weary; tired of it all
Stretched to a breaking point within
Jesus picks you back up when you fall
He forgives, and He cleanses your sin
He’s your Refuge; Your Strong Tower
Others may fail you, but He never will
Above all things, You must trust Him
Fear’s roaring waves He makes still
No matter what’s troubling your soul
In Him is strength, grace, and peace
Let Him take over; give Him control
Your cares and concerns to Him release
Going about your day, remember this
In life, you’ll experience pain and trial
But when you raise His name in praise
He’s your Hope and Joy all the while
