Vermillion
Through the window open pale
I stop to stare – though long the
night, and weary are my eyes there
you stand, everything that is meant
Outlined skies hungry to the root
whispers on the wind, rhapsody your name
My cruellest of all despair forgotten
earth's waste land ~ barren bare no more.
For when loves she bites ~ what strength
have we to fight.
Flowers vermillion red, paint the heart
infatuation flows the breasts ~ waterfalls
cascading. Desire tangled golden threads,
turquoise dreams anchor me to harbour walls
For what is time ~ than ticking clocks
as we watch their hands, go round
and round. For at your hem I,
desire you bind me tight
that your footfall, may I ever live in echo
Not in vain shall I make my search
For you
my love
shall always wear
me well...
