By the title, I thought this would be depressing but not at all. It's wonderfully hopeful and comforting for me. I love how you emphasized life going on in all it's beauty and children playing. The children are the hope. Love and Blessings, Rhonda

the world still turns, though passion burns, if the veil is crossed today, we carry the total experience learned, as our spirit wafts away.... thank you Joan Grisetti..."I Lay Dying" Don

I am not sure sometimes where poems come from. I was in bed, listening to the children next door playing (school's last day) and I had to get up early and was trying to sleep. The words just come and I write them.

From the title, I was expecting to read something similar to a work by the late William Faulkner. I now see that is not the case. Good work.

I don't believe I've ever read Faulkner. Thank you for your comments.
