By the title, I thought this would be depressing but not at all. It's wonderfully hopeful and comforting for me. I love how you emphasized life going on in all it's beauty and children playing. The children are the hope. Love and Blessings, Rhonda

I am not sure sometimes where poems come from. I was in bed, listening to the children next door playing (school's last day) and I had to get up early and was trying to sleep. The words just come and I write them.

From the title, I was expecting to read something similar to a work by the late William Faulkner. I now see that is not the case. Good work.

I don't believe I've ever read Faulkner. Thank you for your comments.
