Moonlight on the Seine

We watched the moonlight on La Seine Glissading down in gold refrains But now, it seems, as silence crept An old cliche' that time forgets ... The moon's façade disguised the pain... C'est la vie, what might be gained To cry again like bitter rain... For hearts have kept this old secret We watched the moon The same old songs have yet remained Where lyrics speak in whispers, kept A déjà vu, that lingers yet Of love that left us sweet regrets We watched the moon

... I do not now exactly as unto why but, tis something about your loveliness, my dear beautiful Carrie * Everytime I see your face, my heart takes off on a high speeed chase ... Perhaps because your poetry reflects the essence within the softness, of your deepest beauty ... A beautiful favourite, to be cherished ... Love, tristen :)
