About This Poem
HEAVEN'S DOORWAY
Blue tunnel glimmers where sky meets the ray
in cadence of nightfall’s rare satin veil,
the air flight grows misty in blooming sway
as my soul climbs a ladder of bright trail;
where heaven’s portal dips in moonlit spray.
Awed by Mother Mary’s grace, here I pale
clutching hands in prayer for all deeds wrong,
then twice, thrice, harps release caressing song.
First wafts of kisses glide like winding sparks
I reach for Mom and Dad’s arms, gently mauve,
beside them , my brothers crowned by night larks
and in- between we share the bliss of love.
Then comes my school mate, queen of stingy barks
oh how we embrace peace thanking white Dove.
Dear timeless realm where sweet harmony dwells,
breaths of oneness chime for God’s final spells
