About This Poem

Serious lim

If you love your freedom thank a vet
(we all love our freedom, this I’d bet)
but what can we do
yep, me, and you too
to stop having wars and regret?

John, you are right, we can thank all the vets in the world... and still we have not gained entirely what they fought and won for... Are we still missing the issues... love this serious LIM... always~ LINDA

There are many vets needing to be thanked John. Freedom is so elusive. I often think if we never had any wars how many people would be here and would they all have jobs, would there be enough to eat, what quality of life would there be. Do you think war is a necessary evil? I love the thought in your poem though, the last line touches a soft spot. Luv, Lizzie
