Stuck

I stand for myself
And alone I stand
So grounded in the world
I'm stuck
Shakles rooted deep within the earth
Tangled in all of its problem.
Soon to grow a new
Becoming the tree that bore the forbidden fruit
Because I was a bad seed
So lay me six feet under
Wash me and rest me in a warm dirt bed
Because life gave me not one choice to be my own person
Rather the person everyone needed me to be
And lost within the confines of myself
I opened my eyes to the trail I could no longer see
Only to find the past in the past
Faded into an illusive history
Still stuck but now in a moment
I suck up the condolence I saved for myself
Then withered and wrinkled away
Til my existence is but a mere echo
"Never Again"
