Until we can see with our hearts as well as our eyes and until we have universal acceptance, this will be a problem. Reading your poem, I may start to pray for the creation of more stupid people.

We should apply this notion towards 'hate crime' assessments - thanks for provoking good logic Scribe - J.A.B. %

I have 2 black friends, 3 white friends, no hispanic friends except if you count the one who's latino, hundreds of thousands of Indian (aka sub-continental in western terms) friends I've never met and maybe 6 or 7 "far-eastern" friends. .... ok, I'm full of shit. I don't count. When I'm having a day that people don't suck, people are cool by me. Interesting write, Scribe, thanks! Namaste~N

Color is the spice of life; how awful if we were all the same. I'm always looking for something different, why not the same with people. You don't have to take a back seat to anyone! :) Luv, Elizabeth

Great verse, with an even greater message :) A very effective way of becoming colour blind is to live under the same roof and eat at the same table. Very soon all colour concepts disappear.
