About This Poem
How Beautiful It Will Be
Moments tick by, and the anticipation grows
When Jesus will return, only the Father knows
God’s Children await the arrival of their King
Joy stirs within as praises to Him they bring
They read His Word and pray for those lost
Mindful that Jesus paid for them a heavy cost
How unfathomable are the riches of His grace
How beautiful it will be for them to see His face
Heaven’s joy will be for them to dwell with Him
To know as they are fully known; to be rid of sin
Hope they find not in this tent of flesh and bone
Only in their Savior; through Jesus Christ alone
