About This Poem
To Merry I Gave All Tomorrows
Tomorrow finally came
through my open window
the wind blew it ever-so gently
but not one moment did I flee
my reality was a sobering fact
views it tried to make me see
but no foundation did I lack
I spared not even a single sigh
tomorrow was not quite so tragic, said I
and it seemed to soothe my soul, and mind
the wind was familiar like those winds of time
my attention now bought by my very experienced life
my will left unbroken as I continue to try
yes, tomorrow came after today, or night
and to merry I gave it all away
that is when the wind blows and everything is
completely okay
