Pain, that’s all I’ve known.
Pain, what I’ve never shown.
Wondering, with all their hate.

Screaming, wanting to be by your side.
Screaming, with nowhere else to hide.
Numbed, from all this choking pain.
Numbed, covered in red stains.
Hoping, making a vertical cut.
Hoping, that I won’t wake up.
Breathing, after this pain was lifted.
Breathing, my soul has shifted.
Seeing, I take in your face.
Seeing, I feel your embrace.
Happiness, that’s what I finally feel.
Happiness, that I’m finally healed.
Joyful, I’m feeling no more of this hate.
Joyful, here with you at heaven's gate.
