Very good images in your choka: death, engulfed, shadows. A powerful portrait.

wow, I LOVE how you included the wife in the shadow. POWERFUL stuff. well, Rick I studied up on choka and what they are meant to be is just a long poem that keeps going 5/7/5/5/ etc until you feel the desire to stop!! I think Soup's reference section does a real disservice sometimes not giving the real definition or full definition of what a form is meant to be. If it could be short, it could just be a tanka! Thanks for reading my gladiator poem too. I sure learned alot from research.
