I just really love this one, I love the thought of a "laughing rainbow"-- it's just so, happy and it stirs up this one beautiful memory for me of seeing one special rainbow last month, so thank you! *cont'd* -- but I know how you might feel, especially since I sometimes find myself not writing haiku for stretches of 8 to 9 months, and during those stretches I also find myself not wanting to read haiku either....when I do read haiku during such times, it is more about curiousity of the author, than any huge interest in the form. Hmmm, it goes and comes in waves sometimes.

Ruben, in no way do I want to contribute towards you not reading or writing haiku. Your Shinto haiku is fantastic -- this one is a warm celebration of life and love. I am only worried about people writing cloned haiku because....because of their own worries about wot other people might think if they actually evolve their own style.
