About This Poem
Rose Petal's Conversation
for the first time, I've
watched each petal
awaken on a rose.
serenading my eyes
to enter my soul.
it doesn't know
loneliness for
H
A
R
M
O
N
Y
offering its pollen
to the bumblebee,
honey's recipe!
before the bee leaves,
the pollen must settle.
courteously conversating with each petal!
gratitude it bestows,
upon its thorns,
pruning doesn't guarantee another morn.
the rose withers,
confine to a vase,
it becomes a bigger beauty, left under the stars.
the bee will return
for its new buds,
maturing, the bee will return with a new buzz!
two different species,
peacefully, coincide
to survive easily!
beauty is in its root's!
