About This Poem

Prayer of a Patron

Munera take them
To halls of glory and death
Beneath the red sand
Gladius open them
That they may pour out their sins
Upon Rome's great feet
Caesar give us blood
Spartacus comes to avenge
The crowd is thirsty

By the way, I'm starting to think you are secretly Canadian, since a) you can speak French, and b) you use the word "eh"... haha ;)

I have never seen this form before! It looks like you nailed it. And, since I have a Minor in Greek and Roman History, I hands-down love the subject. That last line really says it all!
