About This Poem
The cat flap of my heart
You come and go, kiss me, love me, say words
I stroke your hair, explore the hills and valleys
Do foolish things, that you adore, and excite me
We lay by a cosy fire, exchanging smiles and looks
You open a cat flap in my heart, touch a nerve
Then with a soft purr, you just leave.
