CHILD'S VIEW

CHILD’S VIEW

Look!
Old folks
Funny skin
All wrinkled up
Nearly bent double
It must hurt when they smile
And their clothes are funny too
I wish they wouldn’t block the aisle
The supermarket is full of them
Mamma    make those old folks go away

    Beautiful poem here - I really enjoyed this unique piece. Wow! That's really cool. Pikes Peak seems like an interesting place. I have never been there myself, but I want to go to Colorado Springs some day. The book takes place in the future and they built an awesome observatory. I thought Pikes Peak would be a nice place to study stars and such. Always, Laura

    It would be terribly sad Daver, if all children thought like this. The very young don't, it's as if they haven't been away long from where'd they'd come, They don't see wrinkles but something else that is more beautiful, of which they are too young to describe.
