Gladiator's Remorse

full coliseum
lions roar in hot cages
my heart begins to beat fast

cages open wide
we run, but cannot escape
our bodies rot in the heat

    Hey you' I see that you have been able to keep the pen flowing good job, I'm not at full strength so I have missed replying to the members trying now to do that as I feel relatively good today considering, hope that this message finds you in good spirits and will be back to look at other poems you have posted.
