If I thought I could change it
Then you know I would
If I thought I could change the world

If you knew I could write you a love song or poem
You know it would be true, and I would

If you saw me trying to change the world
Would you help me my friend?
Would you lend me your hand?
Could you help be my friend?
I wish you would
I know you could

If I tried to say all the right things,
But they were wronged
Would you believe my words were still true?

Would you believe I could color the sky
As I write down these words of blue

If the doves sail alone in the thickened snow
She will show us how
We can travel so deep on our own road

I believe anything is possible and I'm with David, just say the word... Wonderful write Krys. Love the imagery of the dove...and my favourite lines: "Would you believe I could color the sky As I write down these words of blue"

Krys, Love how you brought this simple ways the power of words to shape our world and bring things into action. The last image is really poignant, showing an uncommon bravery in a common animal. Justin

A pleasure to read your poetry today Krys. I will try to come back later this week to read more. I have a spring cold and not up to reading for too long. Have a wonderful week. Love, Carol
